Curionoir Handblown Glass Candle

Handblown glass candle individually handcrafted in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. Finished with a Curionoir stamp. Due to the organic nature in which the glass is handled, there will be variations in shape and colour tone.

Notes of Tarata, Lemon, Pepper, Incense Wood, Lavender, Violet, Rose, Styrax, Smoked Wood, Labdanum, Cedarwood. 

Rustic, woody, leathery; inspired by the journey of the kihikihi or known by some iwi Māori, te tarakihi (te reo Māori name for cicada) from years spent buried underground, to its short lifespan upon emergence. Top notes of tarata, pepper, incense wood, and lavendin represent the high-pitched vibrations of kihikihi song. The depths reveal smoked wood, violet blossoms, rubber, styrax, and labdanum, alluding to the long, slow period the kihikihi spends deep within the soil.

Curionoir uses biodegradable botanical wax and lead free cotton wicks.
